Event Details

Abide is a hope-filled one-day, 8 am-12 pm retreat conference designed to encourage, equip, and provide connection and rest for foster, adoptive, and kinship parents. We aim for these parents to leave feeling refreshed and encouraged to preserve their work of foster, kinship care, and adoption. At this free event, breakfast will be provided, and then parents will get to hear from a main speaker and attend breakout sessions. The breakouts are specifically designed for parents to connect with one another, learn about parenting children who have experienced trauma, and to rest. It is our hope that Abide would be a place where parents can find a connection with God, reminding them to abide in Jesus and their hope and strength.
